Played extensively at and around the A State Of Trance 900 shows to unite fans from all over the world, Armin van Buuren and Luke Bond’s brand-new track with KARRA called ‘Revolution’ is exactly what the crowd has been asking for: a massive track that will shape the next generations of Trance music.

Luke Bond: “’Revolution’ started out as a rough idea that I pitched to Armin as a potential collaboration. He was on board right away, which got me very excited. Everything felt really organic throughout the collaborative process with both of us adding new ideas as we progressed. It was incredibly inspiring to work with both Armin van Buuren and KARRA, and I’m really proud of what we’ve all created.”

KARRA: “My goal as an artist is to always create something bigger than myself, and ‘Revolution’ is exactly that. When they sent me the instrumental, I was blown away by its power and knew that this record was going to make waves across the globe. This made it easy for me to tie it all together with the uplifting and empowering message behind the vocal. Marco Borsato, Armin van Buuren en Davina Michelle hebben de handen ineengeslagen voor hun nieuwe single ‘Hoe Het Danst’. Het drietal heeft de track vandaag als verrassing gelanceerd. ‘Hoe Het Danst’ is een liefdeslied waarin het verhaal wordt verteld van twee mensen, die niet goed weten hoe ze met elkaar verder moeten. Armin van Buuren zal, naast de al eerder aangekondigde Davina Michelle, ook als gastartiest in de aankomende Kuip-shows van Marco Borsato optreden, die plaatsvinden op 29, 30 mei, 1, 2 en 5 juni.

‘Hoe Het Danst’ is de eerste van een serie nieuwe samenwerkingen van Marco Borsato met andere artiesten, geïnitieerd door zijn vaste partner John Ewbank. Om hun 30-jarige muzikale partnership te vieren, heeft het tweetal het idee opgevat om een aantal songs te gaan opnemen met verschillende artiesten die ze één voor één willen gaan uitbrengen. Ewbank: “Marco en ik werken nog altijd met het grootste plezier samen. We vonden het een gaaf idee om ons jubileum luister bij te zetten door een aantal nieuwe samenwerkingen met anderen aan te gaan.”

Marco Borsato: “Duetten en samenwerkingen lopen als een rode draad door mijn carrière. Ik kan niet wachten om er nog veel meer te mogen doen. We beginnen met Armin van Buuren die ik enorm hoog heb zitten als een van de beste DJ’s ter wereld en Davina Michelle, die de afgelopen tijd bewezen heeft een van de grootste Nederlandse zangtalenten te zijn. Ik ben heel blij dat ze mij beiden zullen vergezellen op het podium van De Kuip.”

Armin van Buuren is de laatste gast die is aangekondigd voor de concertreeks in De Kuip eind deze maand. Armin van Buuren vind zelf dat er een legende terugkeert naar De Kuip. “Ik denk dat we met het track record van Borsato vrij snel kunnen concluderen dat Marco een levende legende is. De aankomende reeks met vijf Kuip concerten bewijst maar weer eens hoeveel mensen van Marco en z’n muziek houden. Zelfs de grootste internationale artiesten verkopen in Nederland geen 5 stadions uit. Ik kan alleen maar met ontzettend veel bewondering naar hem kijken en heb geen moment getwijfeld toen hij me vroeg om mee te gaan naar De Kuip. Ook ik stond tijdens De Waarheid als fan in de rij en wil dit nieuwe hoogtepunt in z’n carrière natuurlijk voor geen goud missen”.
