The second part of A State of Trance Episode #700 will air tonight, and this one is going to be extra special indeed! The show will be broadcast LIVE from Sydney, with Armin van Buuren and special guests playing in front of a small crowd. The show will, of course, be broadcast to over 33 million listeners worldwide, making this truly an ASOT celebration of incredible proportions.

Finishing off his tour, Armin will close down the rest of this year with two performances in the U.S. — one in Denver, and the other in Oakland. 2014 has certainly been one of the most incredible years to date for Armin, with several firsts, numerous awards and nominations, great new music and a worldwide tour. 2015 promises even more exciting new music, brand new performance dates, and a few surprises, so stay tuned in 2015!

On the same day that ‘A State Of Trance Year Mix 2014’ (the 11th chapter of the now popular series) saw light for the first time, Armin van Buuren also received a 4x platinum award for over 200,000 copies sold of the complete ‘A State of Trance Year Mix 2004 -2013′ series.
Armin on the award: “It’s a lot of work to put the mix together each time, but it’s really cool that it’s apparently appreciated by so many people. I remember that Raymond van Vliet of Cloud 9 Music came to me with the idea of bringing out the mix. I thought he was crazy, and I thought he would never succeed in clearing all the tracks. I think it’s fantastic that we have already been able to bring out the A State Of Trance Year Mix for eleven years!”
Armin van Buuren, who is still one of the most successful DJs in the world (and is once again in the top 3 of the DJ Mag Top 100 this year), just mixed the eleventh edition, ‘A State Of Trance Year Mix 2014′. The record is a megamix of over 2 hours containing around 100 trance hits from the past year, tracks which were chosen by global listeners of Armin’s radio show on Radio 538, ‘A State Of Trance’ (ASOT). Armin supplemented these songs with his own favorite trance hits of 2014.
