Marking 25 years of A State of Trance, Armin van Buuren elevates the anniversary celebrations with the release of the twenty-third annual album installment. ‘A State of Trance 2026’ delivers three fresh mixes, across three brand-new themes, showcasing the definitive sound of trance in 2026.

Mix 1: ‘Pulse’ spotlights a series of new collaborations from Armin van Buuren alongside artists like Argy, Andrew Bayer, and Skytech. It also features the BLR remix of ‘Tuvan’ by GAIA, plus standout tracks from Joris Voorn, Max Styler, OTTAGON, and more.
Mix 2: ‘Frequency’ brings its own distinct flavor and is filled with club energy. It’s packed with standout tracks from artists like Amy Wiles, Farius, and SUPERSTRINGS, and features the official 2026 A State of Trance anthem, ‘Always You.’
Mix 3: ‘Energy’ shifts gears into higher intensity, delivering faster, driving beats built for movement and momentum, with names like KI/KI, Lilly Palmer and the Rocketman, alongside rising acts such as S3PPA, DEVERAUX, LAWTON, and Deckers.

This project wasn’t something I originally planned to share. It’s not dance music no beats, no drops, just piano and strings. I recorded the album here at ConcertLab, and it felt right to return to this room to try it live for the first time.
On February 10th, I’m opening the doors to a try-out show. It’s an experiment, a different format, and a chance to see this music in its earliest live form. One night, one setting, one opportunity to be there.
