No happening is as mad as the Amsterdam Dance Event. From co-hosting the ‘Evers Staat Op’ show on Radio 538 and kicking off the SLAM! Mix marathon to playing b2b with Hardwell at AMF and becoming the #3 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, Armin van Buuren got thrown head first into a hectic, but extremely enjoyable week brimming with dance music of all sorts. As we all know, many people lost their houses because of the earthquakes.

Armin donated money to help those people and will be visiting a collection center in Polanca that is run and supported by well-known Mexican actors Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal. They started #donauntecho.org. In English this means Donate a roof. They have created a digital platform that will go live on Friday, on which people can help other people affected by the earthquakes directly, by helping them through financial means to reconstruct or rebuild their house. They already raised 800.000 dollar.
