It was with great regret that we’ve announced the cancellation of the ARMIN ONLY INTENSE show that was set to take place on Friday October the 31st in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The cancellation has everything to do with malfunctioning and bad financial management by the local promotor Bonus Vision/ Celebration Sk.

Today we have been informed by the local promotor that none of the sold tickets for the Armin Only Intense show in Ostrava will be refunded. To us, this feels completely unacceptable and although we won’t get compensated for any of the (financial) Armin Only Intense losses that came with this cancellation, Armin van Buuren will come to Ostrava to play a 3-hour exclusive set for all of the fans. Unfortunately there’s no way of hosting the ARMIN ONLY INTENSE show due to circumstances.

There won’t be any additional tickets on sale for this gig, but all of the fans that have bought a ticket for the Armin Only Intense show, automatically get access to the same venue this Friday. Doors will open at 21h00 and Armin van Buuren wil start at 23h00.

Ticket sales start October 25th

On February 21st it’s time for the first A State Of Trance Festival in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht. The ticket sales have now begun, as of 11AM (CET) with a special ticket price for only 13 hours, from 11:00 – 00:00.

If you plan on attending this event, make sure to buy your tickets as soon as possible, since we only have a limited amount of tickets at this special price.

Fans of A State of Trance! It is that time of the year! It is time for you to decide which tunes defined your 2014. Which tunes rocked your world? Vote for your Tune of The Year!

Every year, Armin van Buuren compiles the best songs from his A State of Trance radio show into his definitive year mix. For this important show, fans are given the chance to vote for their top 5 favorite songs, and these songs are all in the running for the final mix.

That’s where you come in! If you’d like to influence the definitive trance mix of 2014, all you have to do is vote here for your 5 favorite tracks.

Based on your votes, Armin will create the official, ‘best-of’ year mix. Just put your top pick in the number one spot, your second favorite as number two, and so on all the way down the list.

The results will be broadcast during the annual countdown show to the official tune of the year, airing December 18th, 2014. Voting closes on 13th of December, so hurry before it’s too late.

During this episode of the Armin Only: Intense road movie, the Armin Only crew heads off to South America for 2 consecutive shows in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. With little time between the two shows, everyone’s stamina is put to the test as they experience real life on tour and the few hours of sleep that go along with it.

For the first time this tour, both shows will be performed outdoors. Whereas the show in Sao Paulo is protected against the elements by a huge tent, the show in Buenos Aires is plagued by heavy rain, wind and thunderstorms — begging the question of whether or not it’s still safe to continue the show. Even the pyro effects in the show pale in comparison to the magnitude and force with which the lightning strikes the terrain over and over again…

With the Argentinian military now giving regular weather updates, its time to decide whether to cancel the show or go ahead and conquer this storm…
