‘Intense’ dominates global iTunes charts

The brand new artist album of Armin van Buuren, ‘Intense’, is dominating the iTunes Main Charts in an astonishing amount of countries worldwide. The fifth artist album of the world’s number one DJ peaks the Dance and Main charts in the United States, Canada, South-Africa, Russia, Mexico, India, most of the Asian countries, South-American territories such as Argentina, Chile, Guatemala and Peru and European countries The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland and many more. From today on, the album is available on iTunesArmadaShop.com and Spotify.

‘Intense’ is the long-awaited follow-up to Armin’s successful artist albums ‘Mirage’, ‘Imagine’, ‘Shivers’ and ‘76’. The album has been 3 years in the making and features collaborations with Grammy award-winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari, Australian duo NERVO, and singers by the likes of Emma Hewitt, Laura V, Laura Jansen, Fiora and many others. The album also contains hit-single ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ featuring Trevor Guthrie, of which the music video clocked up more than 3.5 million views already. ‘Intense’ is the most eclectic and diverse album Armin van Buuren has ever done.

Armin: “’Intense’ is all about finding your own road. You can say the album and my life at the moment in general are pretty Intense. I’ve never put so much work into one album and each track by itself is pretty Intense. They are all about moments of extreme joy or sadness and the album flirts with all kinds of musical styles, particularly the title track itself.”

The Dutch DJ will be touring the United States and Canada in May, followed by the kick-off of his Ibiza residency in Privilege in June. The preparations for the upcoming ‘Armin Only: Intense’ world tour, based on the album, are in full progress. Ticket sales for the two editions in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome on November 15 and 16 will kick off on May 11th through www.arminonly.com
