Hot off the Los Angeles based video shoot for one of the singles of his upcoming artist album, Armin travelled from the US to the warmer regions of Brazil and Peru last weekend! With 5 shows within 5 days, Armin’s tour brought him to Fortaleza, Maresias, Santa Catarina, Lima (Peru) and Itu!
After 24 hours on airplanes, Armin finally landed in Fortaleza, Brazil. Last Wednesday, there was no time to relax, ‘cause it was straight to the gig! After an astonishing set, he met up with some of his fans. And not just any fans, as they were some of the ASOT600 campaign leaders for Brazil!
But unfortunately, Armin had to move on to the next gig. 3000 kilometres further into Brazil, Armin bumped into one of his favourite colleagues: Paul van Dyk! Whenever there’s a party going on, there’s always another DJ around! That night, November 15th, Armin played at the 19th birthday of Club Sirena in the beautiful coastal area of Maresias. Being one of the personal favourite Brazilian clubs of Armin, it became a grand success!
After a stunning helicopter ride down the coastline of Brazil, Armin landed at the Dream Valley Festival in Santa Caterinal! Armin played after Calvin Harris and before Steve Oaki, so you can’t say the Brazilian crowd isn’t open-minded. While the online world was tuned into his guestmix on Above & Beyond’s new radio show Group Therapy, Dream Valley was dancing to Armin’s beats in the rain!
Saturday, it was time for a little trip abroad, to Lima, Peru! 5000 km later, Armin landed at the massive Creamfields Perú celebration, with an outrageous and passionate crowd awaiting him! 2 hours of musical bliss later, it was finally time for some rest for the Dutchman.
With one day of rest in between, Armin played the closing party of his Brazil & Peru tour on Monday November 19th. At the Arena Maeda in Itu, Brazil, he played at the Xxxperience festival, alongside Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and Zedd. A sunny day of sunny beats!
