March 19th 2011 was a memorable day for trance music. Over 20.000 people gathered in the MTN Expo Center in Johannesburg, South Africa for the first of five events to celebrate the 500th episode of Armin van Buuren’s weekly radio show A State of Trance. The live broadcast also was a highlight for music lovers from all over the world, truly uniting the global trancefamily. #asot500 was a worldwide trending topic on Twitter for hours.
