Fans can now directly interact with their favourite artist with free location-based mobile app Flowd, launched on iPhone and Android smartphones today. Artists can keep their supporters up-to-date with their latest news, views, gigs and releases.

Also on Flowd, is Armin van Buuren. Besides enjoying the benefits of Twitter and Facebook, he finds that Flowd makes it easier to stay in touch with his fans.
