Summer takes over as soon as ‘Feels So Good’ hits in. It’s the voice of Nadia Ali that appears on this housy ‘Mirage’ track. Her soothing but powerful voice is in perfect combination to the playful bass-guitar and easy-going feel-good sound. You may find that ‘Feels So Good’ is nothing like you’d expect from Armin, but that’s exactly what he intended. Armin:”We just wanted to try something different for the album, to see if we can inspire other songwriters or maybe write a song out of it ourselves. In March last year, we started to send the demo around. In the summer I met the Nervo Sisters, with who I also wrote ‘Not Giving Up On Love’, and when they heard it they were like ‘Oh my god, this is so great! We want to write a track to it’. In the past I used to make a lot of house records, so I thought it might be a challenge to do something different for ‘Mirage’. A little bit summery, vocally, less drums in there, more focused on a song.”
