The Dutch soccer team may not have won the FIFA Worldcup, but that didn’t stop the Dutch people from celebrating and honouring its players. After a trip through the canals of Holland’s capital, the team was honoured at the Radio 538 Museumplein in Amsterdam, where a 200.000 strong crowd gave them a more than warm welcome. Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren was given the honour to play for the team and Museumplein crowd, and turned the ‘huldiging’ into one big, outrageous party.
A sea of orange spread out in front of Armin, who rocked the Museumplein stage with the full Dutch soccer team right next to him. Wesley Sneijder, one of the players, even treated the number one DJ a beer. Armin and his crowd definitely had a great time. Bring on the European Championship!
